Premier League - Lowestoft II 0 Ipswich East Suffolk II 3
IES took to the field determined to continue their 100% record this season. With unavailability to some key players, young Lizzie Burch and the experienced Jackie Gooderham came into the side.
With some positional changes IES made hard work of the first half but went into half time 1-0 up with a well taken goal by Gooderham following a well-worked short corner. Stern talking at the interval and positional changes meant IES started the second half with some neat, controlled possession hockey and were rewarded with another goal by Debbie Thorpe.
Excellent build up play down the IES right involving Moran and Elsom resulted in a second goal from a well-placed Gooderham. The IES defence kept Lowestoft attacks to a minimum but the game was abandoned with four minutes remaining when Karen Keedle sustained a nasty head injury that required hospital treatment.
