Lowestoft II 2 Ipswich East Suffolk II 0
Ipswich East Suffolk II travelled to Lowestoft with only ten players to take on a young side fighting to stay in the Premier Division.
IES began in control for the first ten minutes but against the run of play Lowestoft broke through and put the ball past a startled defence. IES continued to battle with only ten and the two school girls of Anna-Marie and Lizzie Burch worked hard to help the struggling IES return to form.
Lowestoft then capitalised on IES pushing too high up the pitch and made another break through before half time with an excellent hard strike past the keeper.
The second half saw IES continue to work hard but they did not seem to gel to produce the fine form of previous weeks. Although the score-line did not change, IES were a little disappointed not to at least manage a goal as reward for their hard work.
