What can one say, IES were stuffed and roasted like turkeys!

Lowestoft came out strong from the start and wanted the ball more than IES. They were sharper in the tackles, were first to loose balls, their passing was accurate and they made their chances count. Only the acrobatics of IES keeper Jim Strongitharm prevented Lowestoft from converting several penalty corners and kept IES in the game.

Indeed, IES were only 2-0 down at half time and could have pulled the game back but seemed to have few answers. Alistair Kelly came close on a couple of occasions in the second half and IES were awarded several penalty corners but were unable to convert. With the team always on the back foot Lowestoft took the game to IES and fully capitalised on their home advantage.
