COLCHESTER United defender Magnus Okuounghae, who is out of contract, is weighing up his options for next season and beyond. And one of these options is believed to be Scottish champions Celtic.
Ex-Dagenham & Redbridge centre-half Okuonghae has been offered a new deal by U’s boss John Ward, but the chances are that the 26-year-old will be playing for another club next season.
Okuonghae has most recently been linked with Glasgow giants Celtic, while several English clubs are also tracking the big man, including Championships outfits Burnley, Blackburn, Bolton, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Derby and Millwall.
Okuonghae’s agent, Leon Callendar, revealed: “We have been contacted by a few clubs and Magnus will be considering his options over the coming weeks.”
