MAGPIES hosted Evergreens, looking to reverse the outcome of the their last meeting to come out on top, however with a changed side, Magpies took a while to get into their stride, taking an opposition goal to boost their desire for the win.
Magpies took possession from the restart and rarely gave it up throughout the rest of the half, but were unlucky and went into the break 1-0 down. The second half showed off the skill and determination of the Magpies team, goals coming evenly thought the half from Lottie Nixon and Kira Wooltorton, who scored a hat-trick.
Evergreens threatened a few times in the last minutes, but the defence held strong, and the end result reflecting the hard work that Magpies had put in.
