Magpies Ladies IV 6 Breckland 0

A COLD, clear day saw Magpies entertain Breckland, the home side looking to get back to winning ways. Magpies' determination for a victory was evident from the very start, the home side winning any 50-50 balls and making ground into Breckland's D. A well- worked short corner routine ended with Treacle Snelling opening the scoring for Magpies. A second followed shortly after from Kay Dennis, and Rachel Clifford was on hand at the far post to tap in a rebound to make it three nil to the home side going into half time.

The second half saw much of the same, Magpies completely dominating possession, Zoe Cole, Kay Dennis and Rachel Clifford combining well on the forward line, with great support from Laura Schultheiss and Tracy Reeve in the midfield.

Kay Dennis got Magpies' fourth from a short corner, a cracking strike from the top of the D. Clifford got her second midway through the half, and Snelling completed the scoreline capping a good performance at centre back.

A strong, solid performance from Magpies, but credit must be given to the Breckland 'keeper who made some terrific saves and kept the scoreline down.
