BURY Town became the first Suffolk side to lift the Ryman League Cup last night.
A 59th minute goal by left back Mark Coulson gave Bury a 1-0 win over fellow Premier Division side East Thurrock United in the final at Staines Town FC.
Bury fully deserved their win, dominating the match for long periods, and it was only their profligacy in front of goal that stopped them from winning by a bigger margin.
