England cricketing greats will be in Bury St Edmunds on Friday for a match at the Victory Ground.
Simon Jones, a member of the 2005 Ashes-winning side, and Phil DeFreitas are the latest two names to be confirmed ahead of the match against a combined Bury St Edmunds and Worlington team. The T20 match, supported by Greene King, is taking place in Nowton Road, starting at 3.30pm.
Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club president David Barker said: “The match is a unique opportunity for local people to meet some of England’s cricketing greats.”
PCA England Masters is run by the Professional Cricketers’ Association. Others appearing in the England side include Mark Ramprakash, Dominic Cork, Alex Tudor, Owais Shah, and Ajmal Shahzad.
