Ipswich Town host Preston North End in a Championship match at Portman Road this afternoon.
Town go into the game having lost seven of their last 10 leagues games following Tuesday night’s 3-1 loss at Cardiff City.
Overall their record is a symmetrical seven wins and seven defeats (they haven’t drawn for 21 matches now). The Blues sit 11th in the table, four points adrift of the play-off places with a game in hand on most.
Preston lost just one of their opening 12 league games under ex-Norwich boss Alex Neil, but are now winless in five. Wednesday’s night’s 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa was their third loss on the spin.
The Lancashire side have seven senior defenders sidelined ahead of their long trip to Suffolk.
