Ipswich Town take on Queens Park Rangers, at Portman Road, in a Boxing Day clash at Portman Road this afternoon.
Town lost 2-0 at home to Fulham on Boxing Day last year, but prior to that there were festive wins against QPR (2-1, home), Brentford (4-2, away), Doncaster (3-0, away), Charlton (2-1, away) under Mick McCarthy’s management.
The Blues – who have won seven of their 11 home games this season – are looking to bounce back following Saturday’s 1-0 loss at league-leaders SWolves
Ian Holloway’s visitors are 18th in the table having claimed just seven points on their travels all season. They drew 1-1 with Bristol City, at Loftus Road, last time out.
