Long Melford U18s manager Dave King is on the look out for new players, in particular a goalkeeper, who can play at Ridgeons Youth League level.

Anyone who is interested can either call Dave on 07974251150 or email info@stoneylands.com or just attend any training session - the U18s train with the First Team and Reserves, currently every Thursday at Friars Meadow in Sudbury (next to the Kingfisher Leisure Centre), 7pm to 9pm.

Dave has already started to organise a few pre-season friendly matches. The first confirmed friendly is on Wednesday 26 August 2009, away to Felixstowe & Walton. The U18s also have a FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round match away to Histon in early September to look forward to.

Dave is especially keen to get the players together more often, so they play more as a team this season. He will therefore be organising a few bonding sessions such as Paintballing and Karting.
