MILDENHALL Town are seeking applicants for a new manager following the resignation of Richard Skelly following Saturday's 4-0 defeat to Lowestoft Town.
Senior players Tom Youngs and Gareth Simpson have accepted the role of controlling day-to-day team matters on a temporary basis, while the Ridgeons League Premier Division club look for applicants for the position.
Chairman Martin Tuck said: “I would like to thank Richard for his efforts over the last months as club coach and then manager.
“I wish him all the best for the future in football, whatever he chooses to do, and it was shame that things did not work out.
“In addition I would like to thank Tom and Gareth for accepting the temporary role at this time.”
