TOMMY Miller is looking to clip the Seagulls' wings on Saturday, despite being grounded at the moment, writes Derek Davis.

The Blues midfielder will test out his injured elbow in training today but will wait until tomorrow before a decision to definitely include him in the squad to play Brighton is taken.

Miller has been told it will take at least another three weeks for the ligament damage to heal but is keen to return before then.

He said: "I have tried running but it is a bit awkward. I will train over the next couple of days and take it from there but I would like to be involved on Saturday."

Dean Bowditch is a doubt with an injured ankle, picked up just before half-time at Sunderland, which may allow Darryl Knights another outing on the bench.

Albion will welcome back influential defender Danny Cullip, who was suspended for the home defeat by Burnley last weekend.

The skipper is one of 14 players whose contract runs out at the end of the season and who have been told their futures will be decided in January, once manager Mark McGhee's new contract has been signed.
