Mourinho got 844 of the 1,567 votes cast when we asked who you would like to see succeed Steve McClaren as England boss.
Today jobless Jose was reported as telling a national newspaper: “You will have to speak to the FA to see if they are interested in offering me the job.
“I can not say what I think until they say they are interested. Tell the FA to come and get me.
“We will have to wait and see, but I rule nothing out.”
Mourinho captured almost 52 per cent of the poll on wwww.eadt.co.uk and www.eveningstar.co.uk, with Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp finishing a distant second with 244 votes.
