Muir went straight into the squad for Saturday`s goalless draw at Redbridge.
The attack-minded Muir became the second player to sign for Swifts in 24 hours as director of football Steve Pitt and manager Wayne Bond looked to bolster the squad.
Earlier, Gareth Street returned to Scraley Road from Premier Division new boys Aveley.
