Ipswich Town launched a late fightback but it was a little too late as Town were defeated 2-1 by QPR at Loftus Road this afternoon.

The hosts scored either side of half-time through Jamie Mackie and Luke Freeman, with Town not really responding until the final moments of the match when Bersant Celina pulled a goal back late on with a fine strike from distance,

It was Town’s second successive league defeat after four wins at the start of the 2017-18 season, but Town sit fourth in the Championship after 6 games played.
