THE Louis family have been left to bring the good times back to Foxhall Stadium after the “mystery bidder” lost interest in helping to run the Ipswich Witches speedway side.
After skipper and rider manager Chris Louis said that the club had received no interest, the prominent Ipswich-based businessman who had voiced his interest did a U-turn.
“After the events of the last 24 hours or so I am no longer interested,” he said.
The mystery man confirmed that the Ipswich management had known of his interest for some time but he has not been able to get close enough to make any bid.
Chris Louis said that he was left bemused by suggestions that anyone had shown interest in a club that has been promoted by his father John since 1989.
