NEEDHAM Market have further bolstered their promotion push from Ryman League Division One North with the loan signing of 19-year-old Jack Eades from Cambridge United.

Eades has joined the club for an initial one-month period and goes straight into the squad for tonight’s home match against Suffolk rivals AFC Sudbury.

Needham Market general manager Andy Gould commented: “Danny Laws and I are delighted to have secured the services of a talented young player and one of whom his parent club have high hopes for the future.

“Jack is a player whose progress we have monitored for some time and when the opportunity to add him to our squad presented itself, it was an easy decision to make.

“It is anticipated that the move will be of great benefit to both parties, we are gaining a talented and versatile player at a crucial time in our push for promotion, whilst Cambridge United and the player himself will look to reap the benefit of the experience of first-team football, at a time when every game he plays in is an important one.

“We all wish Jack an enjoyable and successful time at Needham Market and place on record our thanks to Jez George (Director of Football) and Cambridge United Football Club for their help in making this move happen.”
