SAM Newson became the second hat-trick hero in the Ridgeons League Cup semi-finals.
Newson's treble, which takes his tally to 29 goals already this season, saw Stanway win 4-1 at CRC to set up a meeting with Leiston in the final.
Both teams will be playing in their first-ever Ridgeons League Cup final, which will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 4, at a venue to be decided.
Leiston reached the final on Tuesday night thanks to a 6-4 victory over Histon Reserves, with James Rowe also netting a hat-trick.
