AFC Sudbury have made Brightlingsea Regent attacking midfielder Ollie Canfer their first signing of the summer.
Canfer, a former Hadleigh United player, scored 16 goals in all competitions last season as the Essex team narrowly missed out on a place in the Ryman League Division One North play-offs.
Manager Jamie Godbold is planning his first full campaign at AFC, having joined midway through last season and guiding them to the play-off semi-finals.
The former Kirkley & Pakefield boss has transfer-listed goalkeeper Alex Archer and forward Kris Newby.
Meanwhile, Braintree Town boss Danny Cowley has signed former Chelmsford City striker Michael Cheek.
Cheek scored 32 goals in 66 games for the Clarets in Vanarama South and makes the step up to the Conference Premier.
Long-serving club captain Kenny Davis, striker Sean Marks and fellow forward Jordan Cox have also signed up for the new season at Cressing Road.
