WOODBRIDGE Town versus Harwich & Parkeston could yet turn out to be a relegation decider in the Ridgeons League Premier Division on Saturday.

With Whitton United's withdrawal from the league earlier in the season, Lowestoft Town's potential promotion and Tiptree's request to move to the Essex Senior League it may still end up being the case that no team is relegated from the Premier League.

However, a big question mark still hangs over the latter two points and it could still be the case that the bottom two are relegated.

With Haverhill Rovers guaranteed to finish bottom, it means that Norwich United, Harwich and Woodbridge all have plenty to play for in their final fixtures.

Nothing but a win would do for second-bottom Norwich United who travel to Histon Reserves, however, that would look highly unlikely as the Norfolk side have won just once since February - a 3-1 win over Ely last month.

Should Norwich pull of a shock result though, it could all come down to the outcome of today's match between Woodbridge Town and Harwich & Parkeston.

The Essex side are currently one place and two points clear of the bottom two, while Woodbridge are just one place and one point better off.

A win for either side would guarantee their survival, while a draw - coupled with a Norwich United win - would see Harwich drop into the bottom two and leave their fate in the hands of the Football Associaton.
