Ipswich Town youngster Tristan Nydam could be on the verge of a loan move to Scotland.

The 18-year-old England U19 player, who made 20 appearances for the Blues last season, has been sparingly used since Paul Hurst took over as boss in the summer. Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone are being touted as the team to take Nydam on loan.

According to SunSport St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright is on the verge of agreeing a loan deal for the highly-rated teenager.

Wright has been in the market for a central midfielder all summer but has waited for the right player to become available.
