ANTHONY OGOGO is one fight away from clinching his place in next year’s Olympics after the middleweight secured his place in the last 16 of the World Amateur Boxing Championships today, in Azerbaijan.
The Lowestoft boxer edged out fourth-seed Russian, Artem Chebotarev, 12-11 on points to book a fight against Brazilian Esquiva Falcao Florentino.
Ogogo only has to reach the quarter final to qualify for the Olympic standards for next year’s Games in London.
