OWNERS of unwanted Olympic tickets have been stopped from re-selling them after the online process, which enabled the service, hit problems.
The process was launched today but the computer system, which allowed people with unwanted tickets to put them up for sale, soon ran into difficulties.
Fans were able to access available events before being told minutes later that they these were not available.
The London 2012 spokesman said this was as a result of tens of thousands of people trying to buy the tickets, combined with a delay in those tickets being removed from the system once they had been bought.
