We start today’s on this day 45 years ago when David Johnson scored twice as the Blues beat Chelsea 3-2 at Stamford Bridge to make it eight games unbeaten in all competitions.
In 2001, the Blues held Everton to a goaless draw at Portman Road in the Premier League, while Eric Gates scored in Town’s 1-1 draw with QPR at Portman Road to stay unbeaten at home in the 1984-85 season.
And finally on this day in 1990, Simon Milton scored twice as the Blues beat Port Vale 3-0 at Portman Road to keep their home unbeaten run in all competitions to five games.
