SUFFOLK Over-60's suffered a second successive defeat, this time to a powerful Sussex side in a match at Worlington.
Despite excellent half centuries by Graham Penny and new boy Andrew Morgan, a total of 186 did not look enough. Despite the best efforts of the Suffolk fielders and bowlers, Sussex cruised to an eight-wicket victory led by the prolific Andy Meads with a flow of elegant strokes. Scores: Suffolk 186 for 6 (Penny 53, Morgan 56). Sussex 187 for 2. Sussex won by 8 wkts.
Suffolk travel to Letchworth to play Herts on Tuesday, August 7.
