Despite the best efforts of the Suffolk fielders and bowlers, Sussex cruised to an eight-wicket victory led by the prolific Andy Meads with a flow of elegant strokes. Scores: Suffolk 186 for 6 (Penny 53, Morgan 56). Sussex 187 for 2. Sussex won by 8 wkts.

Suffolk travel to Letchworth to play Herts on Tuesday, August 7.
