PETERBOROUGH have re-shuffled their riding order for Monday’s important Elite League trip to Belle Vue (7.30pm).

The Readypower Panthers are seeking to bounce back from their home defeat against table-topping Swindon on Friday, and now need to gain their first points of the season on the road.

Winter signing Kenni Larsen has made an impressive start to his Panthers career and he now moves to the No.5 position, with Linus Sundstrom exchanging places to partner Norbert Kosciuch at No.4 in the middle order.

Panthers boss Jan Staechmann said: “Linus was flying around Peterborough last year in similar conditions.

“It’s not a case of singling out a rider, but he puts a lot of pressure on himself and he’s obviously down about things. He’s got to keep riding and keep battling to get out of that rut, and he’s doing that.”

Belle Vue started the season with home and away defeats against Wolverhampton but hit back by taking five points from Coventry in their next two meetings.

The Aces are led by Grand Prix man Matej Zagar, whose partnership with Kevin Wolbert has proved a strong one, whilst Panthers will be hoping reserve Patrick Hougaard has a successful return to his old home circuit, having joined the club on loan from Belle Vue over the winter.

Staechmann said: “Belle Vue look to be a solid team, but so do we and we just haven’t capitalised on that so far. We have got to do better, that’s all there is to it.

“We’re trying to work with the team to fix things, they’ve got their individual gremlins that they’re trying to sort out and they’re working extremely hard.

“We’ve got to go there and try to erase what’s happened before, and start afresh. Obviously Friday wasn’t good enough but from past experience I know that if you’ve had a bad night you don’t need somebody to tell you, so I’m trying to help them where I can and there’s been some good feedback.”

BELLE VUE: Matej Zagar, Kevin Wolbert, Magnus Zetterstrom, Craig Cook, Artur Mroczka, Ales Dryml, Kauko Nieminen.

PETERBOROUGH: Kenneth Bjerre, Ryan Fisher, Norbert Kosciuch, Linus Sundstrom, Kenni Larsen, Patrick Hougaard, Dakota North.
