Carlton Park 1st 4 Harwich 2

Park knew coming in to this game that they had to perform well against a well-organised Harwich side. They started well, with Sarah Whatling's shot finding the backboard within the first five minutes. Park carried on their great start, stopping Harwich flow passing the ball around. Park extended their lead through Whatling scoring her second, with Harwich pulling one back shortly after to make it 2-1 to Park at half time. The second half started with yet more Park dominance, and a strong back line ensured that nothing came of Harwich's ventures in to Park's half. A penalty stroke was awarded to park when Le Fanu's shot was stopped on the line by a foot. Marshall stepped up to convert and put Park in to a commanding 3-1 lead. Harwich replied shortly with a scrappy goal from a penalty corner. Park didn't let this phase them and Whatling completed her hat-trick to make the final score 4-2.
