Ipswich and Huddersfield have met sporadically over the years, often only spending a few years in the same division before one of them moves up or down to pastures new.
The two sides have both been in the Championship since 2012/13, but there were also meetings in the mid to late 1990s, the late 1980s and late 1960s/early 1970s.
Their first meeting was way back in 1957, in the old Second Division, home team Huddersfield beating Town 3-0 before the Blues got their revenge in the reverse fixture the following year, winning 4-0 at Portman Road.
