STRIKER Craig Payne and centre back Chris Leys won Hadleigh United's player of the year awards.Following the successful 2008/09 season which saw Hadleigh's first team promoted to the Ridgeons League Premier Divisione, a presentation night was held on Saturday at the Millflied in which the following awards were presented.

Following the successful 2008/09 season which saw Hadleigh's first team promoted to the Ridgeons League Premier Divisione, a presentation night was held on Saturday at the Millflied in which the following awards were presented.
First Team - Manager's Player of the Year: Craig Payne; Players' Player of the Year: Chris Leys; Supporters' Player of the Year: Chris Leys.
Reserve Team - Manager's Player of the Year: Daniel Colthorpe; Player's Player of the Year: Daniel Colthorpe;
Supporters' Player of the Year: Ben Goodchild.
Under 18's - Manager's Player of the Year: Jamie Cowan; Players' Player of the Year: jt Chris Keeler & Ross Payne; Supporters' Player of the Year: Aston Leathers.
Other Awards
New names added to list of Fellowship of winners: Muriel Waspe, Tom Clark, Merv Bignell, Barrie Stokes.
Long Service Award: Daniel Oakes.
Club Person of the Year: Steve Jay.
Special Awards to: Rick Pett, John Day & Barrie Stokes.
