Pip, of Bury St Edmunds, will join 99 other entrants who have been accepted to take on the cross-country course designed by Captain Mark Phillips at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, which starts tomorrow until September 2 in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
As well as the challenges of the cross-country course, riders will take part in technically demanding Dressage and Show Jumping phases. Riders from as far as Australia, New Zealand, Croatia and the USA will be joined by Zara Phillips, who will be taking part in the competition for the second time having come second on her Burghley debut in 2003.
