LEISTON have announced a host of appointments for the forthcoming season and hopefully beyond. Former AFC Sudbury skipper David Head has replaced Ian Smith as Assistant to Manager Carl Chenery.

LEISTON have announced a host of appointments for the forthcoming season and hopefully beyond. Former AFC Sudbury skipper David Head has replaced Ian Smith as Assistant to Manager Carl Chenery. Head, who had a fine debut season at Victory Road, will also continue in his playing role. The club would like to wish David every success in his new role and thank Ian Smith for his outstanding efforts. Ian Jenkins also joins as Club Physio. Experienced Jenkins, formerly with AFC Sudbury and Harwich & Parkeston, will be a key part of the Management set up alongside match day physio Mick Lowe and match day co-ordinator Steve Cooper. Mark Scopes has been appointed Reserve Team Manager, Assisted by Ian Morphew while Neill Cole and David Spinks will be in charge of the Youth side. The club is also running an Under 16 side in the Suffolk Sunday Alliance League. The club would like to wish all appointments a very successful tenure.
