The surging Capel Plough have a chance to make it eight wins in a row in the SIL Senior Division this weekend.
The Ploughmen dispatched Grundisburgh 3-1 last week and currently sit second in the table, ahead of their home clash with sixth-placed Coplestonians.
It won’t be easy though - Cops come into the match off an impressive 3-0 win over table-toppers Felixstowe Harpers last week, and will be looking for a second straight win over one of the league’s high-flyers.
Harpers will try to bounce back in a home match with free-scoring Achilles, who sit in fourth, three points behind their hosts but with two games in hand and a massive plus 31 goal difference. They thumped Haughley United 5-1 last week.
Crane Sports, in third, host East Bergholt United after dominating Bramford United 7-1 last week. Bergholt are also coming in fresh off a win, a 2-1 victory over Westerfield.
