Ex-Daggers stars Dave Rainford and Chris Moore will particularly relish the visit of John Still's West Essex side, who will be keen to gain revenge for their defeat to the Clarets in the same fixture, at the same stage, in last year's run to the Roots Hall final. Meanwhile, Jeff King and his team are aiming to go one better and secure the County Cup this season, along with the £1,500 prize money available to this season's successful finalists.

This fixture is to be completed by 17th January 2009, with a specific date yet to be fixed. Essex County Football Association Cups & Competitions Chairman Dave Threadgold drew out the away clubs during the B.B.C. Essex broadcast on Wednesday night, while former Colchester United player David Gregory, now part of the Media Team at the Community Stadium, was responsible for the home sides.
