CRISIS club Portsmouth are going to have to sell another one of their high profile players as the future of the club slips further into jeopardy.
In a desperate bid to relieve pressure on the financial disaster the club is encountering, 80 million-worth of players have left Fratton Park in as little time as a year.
The likes of Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson have all departed, leaving Portsmouth short of a few star players.
David James appears to be the next man on the hit-list with Tottenham rumoured to be interested in the England international goalkeeper.
James said: “This league is supposed to be bulletproof. But over the summer months, as we began to sell our players, those left in the dressing room couldn't help looking round and wondering, 'Who's next?'”
"As players and staff queried the security of their employment, it was an uncomfortable irony that Jobsite.co.uk were our new shirt sponsors.”
