PORTSMOUTH boss Tony Adams hopes to add Tottenham's Giovani dos Santos to the loan signing of Bayer Leverkusen striker Theofanis Gekas.
The 19-year-old Mexican - son of Brazilian player Zizinho - joined Barcelona in 2001 where he made 28 appearances, scoring four goals.
The striker, who made his Nou Camp debut when replacing Thierry Henry, scored a hat-trick against Real Murcia on the final day of the 2007-9 season before Spurs moved to bring him to White Hart Lane for an initial �4.7m.
Since his arrival in North London, the teenager has made just six appearances for his new club.
Spurs have to pay 20% of any sell on fee to Barcelona in their first two years of owning him and 10% of any sell on fee thereafter.
