Murs, from Witham, is more well known as a football fan and player – he’s on the books of Coggeshall Town, has also played for Witham and is known to be a huge Manchester United fan.

Of course, he recently wowed crowds at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Stadium too.

Yesterday, X Factor star Murs watched on at Copdock as Eastern Division table-toppers Suffolk hosted Hertfordshire on day one of three in the Unicorns Championship clash.

And he saw a fairly even day, with Hertfordshire impressing on the way to 328 for 9.
