The out-of-favour defender has been told he can leave the Reebok by boss Gary Megson just a year after arriving.

And the ex-Watford man is a target for Pompey boss Paul Hart as he desperately tries to bolster his squad.

Shittu, 28, cost �2million last summer but started just nine league matches last term.
