IPSWICH Witches Premier League clash with Scunthorpe tonight has been called off with the Foxhall track waterlogged.
Despite little rain in Ipswich during the morning, afternoon heavy showers saturated an already wet track and at 3pm the meeting was postponed.
It now leaves Ipswich having to fit in two meetings, after last week’s clash with Plymouth was also called off and after a delightful March, it has been a poor April, not just for the Witches, but for speedway clubs up and down the country.
The Witches are next in action on Thursday (28th), when they entertain Rye House in a League Cup clash.
Meanwhile Ipswich’s KO Cup trip to Somerset scheduled for April 27, has been moved to Friday, June 1.
