OLYMPIC chiefs may allow Qatar to stage an autumn Games, should they be awarded the event in 2020.
International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge told a press conference in Daegu today the body’s executive board would be discussing the issue, but would let Qatar know before making it public.
The deadline to submit a bid to host the 2020 Olympics is September 1.
