Quotes: Gillingham v Colchester Utd
COLCHESTER United manager Aidy Boothroyd declared himself satisfied with a point at Gillingham following two nightmare results.
Having conceded 12 goals in their previous two games, the U's kept a morale boosting clean sheet against a Gillingham side that have only lost twice at home this season.
"We got back to basics defensively today," said a happy U's boss.
"Unfortunately today the ball just wouldn't drop for us in their box, but you have games like that.
"It would have been great to nick three points, but with 20 minutes to go I was thinking that 0-0 was alright.
"Overall I thought it was a very even game and a fair result for both teams.
"We've got back to what we do, getting points away from home, and now we'll try to get three points on Tuesday (against MK Dons)."
