RANSOMES SPORTS are looking for a new manager following the resignation of Danny Barber, due to work commitments.
The Touchline SIL Division One side were led by chairman, and former manager, Peter Gorham in Saturday’s 4-2 defeat against Trimley Red Devils.
Gorham is keen to have a new manager installed sooner rather than later and said the club’s preference was to appoint a boss that came with his own management team.
“We are looking for a manager to come in with a package preferably, who can bring an assistant manager and a physio,” said Gorham.
“We are mid-table in the league and are still in two cup competitions so it is not all doom and gloom.”
The team was relegated from the Premier Division at the end of last season and a largely new group of players have taken time to gel.
“We would like to install a new manager as soon as possible,” Gorham added.
