RAVI Bopara has signed a new-one year contract with Essex which will keep him at the Club until September 2013.
Bopara, who has recently been with the England squad during the 2012 ICC Twenty20 World Cup campaign, becomes the eighth player to pen a new deal with the county.
Head coach Paul Grayson said: “It has been a tough summer for Ravi but we want to keep him at Essex for as long as we can because of the ability he possesses. He is able to give some massive performances for Essex next season and I’m delighted he has signed a new contract.”
