On a record-breaking sports day at Orwell Park School, a total of 26 new records were set.
Three athletes accounted for 12 between them, with April Hill, the Suffolk Under-12 Cross-Country champion breaking six records on the track and field.
Freya Sanderson set four new records again in track and field and Will Dutton, the Suffolk under-12 high jump champion, set two records in high jump and hurdles.
The children in the high jump and Long jump were using the school’s new all-weather multi-sport area for the first time, and relished the new facilities.
