‘Respect’ campaign carries little respect!

FOOTBALL’S ‘Respect’ campaign was always going to struggle to make any difference – and so it is proving.

In the heat of the battle referees and opponents are always going to be the victims of aggression at differing levels as the red mist sets in.

So it is no surprise that the Kingsley Healthcare SIL management committee is to monitor the level of dissent closely and take appropriate measures against worst offending clubs.

This is after the league became concerned about the number of cautions for dissent.

One club blazing a glorious trail is Division Six leaders FC Adhara, who have yet to have a player booked or sent off in nine matches.
