Ipswich ‘Sackers’ Witches fans went home from their last meeting of the season at Foxhall Stadium celebrating a home victory in the 16-lapper.
Morten Risager, who won the 16-lap race two years ago, but didn’t have enough points from the qualifying heats to take overall victory, took all the honours this time.
In an exciting 16-lap final, with gladly no falls, Risager passed former Witch Kevin Doolan on lap 13, to take the lead in the race for the first time and the top prize overall.
For Risager it was a nice end to the season for the Dane.
