Robert Croft entertains Sudbury Cricket Club at 225th anniversary dinner

SUDBURY Cricket Club celebrated their 225th anniversary in style with a dinner at the Masonic Hall in the town on Saturday night.

Former Glamorgan and England all-rounder Robert Croft was the guest speaker, relating tales from his playing career.

Awards were presented to the following winners: Darren Batch - player of the year; Mandy Poulson - clubman of the year; Ben Hyett - most improved player of the year.
