RYE House have opened discussions with Belle Vue over the signing of talented British youngster Jason Garrity on a full transfer.

Garrity, who won two major individual events at Hoddesdon last season and will ride for the Rockets in 2012, has requested a transfer from the Manchester club.

Rye House promoter Len Silver said: “I would be surprised if we cannot reach a satisfactory agreement. Jason struck up a strong friendship with Chris Neath during their time together in the French Alps and I know that Chris intends to take the lad under his wing and ease his way into our Premier League team.

“He is as yet fairly untried at Premier level and backing from our captain, given his wealth of experience, must give him a reasonable chance of the success he’s targeting.”
