Haverhill were unlucky not to lead at the break, but soon scored after the restart as defender Vinnie Long brought down Shaw just inside the penalty area and Lee Reed tucked away the spot kick.
The lead only lasted five minutes, however, as a corner on the right was flicked on by Nick Impey and Andy Chatters headed in past the scrambling keeper.
