A round-up of today’s action in Ryman North, including a dramatic winner for Maldon & Tiptree!

Bury Town shared the points with Soham Town Rangers at Ram Meadow yesterday.

Sam Mulready gave the visitors the lead in the 31st minute but Josh Mayhew struck after the break to level the game in the 58th minute.

A decent crowd of 344 watched the clash, and the result sees Bury remain in mid-table in the Ryman League North.

In the same league, champions Brightlingsea Regent were officially crowned champions as they beat Dereham Town 3-1 at home.

Aaron Condon, Adam Smith and Russell Malton scored the goals for the R’s, who will be pitting their wits against the big boys in the Ryman League Premier next season.

Maldon & Tiptree kept their promotion push up too, as they beat local rivals Maldon & Tiptree 2-1, Sam Newson hitting the first before Liam Nash grabbed the winner in the 92nd minute. Witham Town lost 1-0 at Brentwood in other Ryman North action.
